1/21/11 27 weeks, Baby Shower Plans, Shane's Scared and a 4D Ultrasound!

So I'm 27 weeks today! I can't believe my 2nd trimester is coming to an end and the 3rd is about to begin. In some ways its gone by fast and in other ways, not so much.  I had my gestational diabetes test last week which came back negative. My blood sugar was right where it should be.  Yay!

Savannah has really been moving so much, I'm starting to feel her much higher up and she's kicking much harder these days.  Im not complaining because I love feeling my little girl; to me, it's like we're bonding.  She kicks a little, then I have to give her a talking to, then she kicks again and I just laugh and Im sure she does too.  Haha...

So here I am this morning... 27 weeks!!! ( I just had to say it again)

My wonderful sister (who I miss dearly) has started planning the baby shower!! Whoo-hoo!! So exciting, the best part for me though will be seeing her and Maddie and all the rest of the family who I havent seen since Ive been pregnant.  Oh how Ive missed them throughout this experience.  So the plans are in full effect and Im sure it will be great! Shane and I started our registry last night at Target, thats always fun. We had fun doing it for our wedding last year.  I must say Im such a nice wife because I let HIM have control of the scanner gun the entire time!

Here we are on our way to Target...

Earlier this week Shane filled out the paperwork for his exam and wrote the FINAL check (the last of many), here he is looking, well, a little scared...

He's so funny!

And at 4:00 today we are all going to have a 4D ultrasound! Shanes parents and my parents are all going, so that will be fun. I can't wait to see her sweet little face.  We werrnt sure if we were going to do it or not but in the end decided that we wanted to take full advantage of every experience this pregnancy has to offer :)

4d Picture to come... :)  Well the 4d didn't go exactly as planned.  She wasn't in the right position to get a clear picture of her pretty little face.  We could definitely see her but it was very "cloudy".  Now if only her face was where her feet were, it would have been perfect.  Her feet were in just the right "bubble" of clearness...thats not the right word but you know what Im saying.  The tech tried for about 10 minutes and didn't charge us,  but she did give us a few pictures....

That's her arm in front of her face, look closely, you can see her  eyes nose and mouth.

And here's her little feets
