Houston, We have a tooth!

After much anticipation, Savannah is getting her first tooth!! It's coming through on the bottom....I tried getting a picture but it just wasn't happening.  This is what I got....

As you can see, she wasn't letting me in at all.  Its still just at the surface so not much to see anyway.  

But it's another big milestone so we were pretty excited :)

One little ladybug....

She started throwing everything out of her crib a few weeks ago.  After every nap when we go to get her, all of her stuffed animals are all over the floor....

but today she left one cute little ladybug behind.  (and gave me a funny face when she was trying to grab the camera)

Time to break out that child proofing kit again!

10 Months Old!

Savannah turned 10 months old yesterday.  She's growing by the second and becoming such a beautiful little girl. I swear we notice changes in her everyday.  She is getting so close to taking her first steps, we know it is coming soon.  As for her first tooth? Not sure when that's going to happen.  But we're not worried about it yet, Im sure it won't be much longer.

I still try to get her monthly picture in her rocking chair but it is getting pretty difficult.  I thought about switching it up a little but I just can't.  I've taking every picture there since she was 1 month old (check out the "watch her grow" tab at the top) so I have to make through to 12 months.  Even if I have to strap her down.  :)

Just us...

Today, Savannah and I headed out to do some shopping.  Over the weekend Shane and I decided to paint the kitchen one last time; we painted just a few months ago and it didn't turn out the way I planned. at all. It's bothered me ever since.  So we picked out two beautiful shades of green (to cover the yellow) and went at it (well, Shane did anyway) So I wanted to find some new pictures to match.  I did'nt have much luck, so I'll keep looking.

Anyway, I tried getting some pictures of me and favorite shopping buddy before we left.  Seems this is the only way I can get a picture with her.

Visit from Gram...

My mom came down to visit Tuesday and stayed through Thursday.  She tries to come down as often as she came to spend time with Savannah.  We did what we do best- shopped and ate.  Last week I got some great idea's for Savannah's birthday so we went looking for some things that we would need.  Of course, her birthday is still 2 months away but hey it's her 1st so I want to make sure it's perfect :)

We all LOVE Outback so within an hour of mom being here, that's where we headed (it's only about 5 minutes away)

At her last doctors appointment the pediatrician said we could start giving her eggs so we scrambled one up  and gave it a try....
