Savannah Slept Through the Night!!

Yes, for the first time Savannah slept through the entire night. From about 9:30 - 5:50 this morning!!

Savannah started smiling last week and we've been trying to get pictures or video of this monumental moment and have not been successful. Last night she was so happy playing on her jungle gym mat that not only did we get a little smile but she also rolled over! The first time she did it we didn't have the camera going but grabbed it for the second one.

Another Birthday for Me....

Hmmm.... didn't I just turn 30?! Seems like just yesterday we met Tony and Laura at Chili's for my 30th birthday; yet I was meeting them there again today for another one. Can't I just stay 30? Guess not but it was worth asking. So yes, tomorrow I will officially be 31, something about that sentence doesn't sound right to me. It must be the whole "31" part. I remember thinking 31 was old, funny how that goes huh?

Well, turning 31 isn't so bad because I have my sweet little girl and my hubby to celebrate with. And now this is when my our birthdays will not matter anymore and hers will take over.

Tony, Laura and Anthony were nice enough to take Savannah and I out to lunch today (Poor Shane had to work)

Our Week with G.G.

My grandma flew in from Michigan on Tuesday to spend time with Savannah and I. It was so nice having her down and having a extra set of hands during the day! Savannah had a tough week, she was extremely fussy and we just couldn't figure out what was bothering her. Tuesday and Thursday she was up for over 10 hours straight during the day; we tried everything and nothing was working. She has been much much better today so I hope that whatever was bothering her has passed.

I wanted to get more pictures while Gram was here but with Savannah not feeling so good I didn't have my camera in hand like I normally do.

Hopefully I'll be able to do my 6 week update video tomorrow.

Life Before and After Kids...

So yes, things have definitely changed in our lives; but it's all for the better! We had a lot of great times with Tony and Laura but I know that there are many more to be had with Savannah and Anthony included. (Minus the hangovers) ;)
